This month we are featuring Vicente Guerrero Primary School. PLEASE BRING A CHAIR!

The largest primary school in El Sargento/La Ventana, serving 154 children, currently has unsafe and non-functioning bathrooms—and that’s a serious problem.

Because local schools do not receive government funding, parents are responsible for paying or fundraising to cover essential needs.

We want to support them, and what better way than by playing BINGO, winning prizes, and knowing that your contribution is helping local children enjoy a safer, healthier learning environment!

December 6- The Modal Quintet- Live Jazz Music

Modal Quintet is a dynamic new project led by Maestro Chen Quintero, creating original music that blends Drum and Bass, Hip Hop, R&B, and Funk with modern jazz harmony and improvisation. The group features Belen Rocha (soprano sax), Tom Martinez (tenor sax), Chen Quintero (guitar), Oscar Zamarron (bass), and Guillermo Núñez (drums).

Joining them is Grammy-winning trumpet player, arranger, and composer Terry Townson, whose four-decade career includes performing and recording with legends such as Ray Charles, Buddy Guy, The Temptations, and Jerry Lee Lewis. Terry is an endorsed CarolBrass artist and now resides in Cabo San Lucas, BCS.

Saturday December 13, Cumbia – Latin Music Night!  • 7:00 pm

In support of Fundación Azul Cerralvo

Aldo and Alejandro first crossed paths over a decade ago, playing cumbia together in the streets of Guanajuato. Their connection grew into a full cumbia band, rooted in their shared love for son cubano and the grand Colombian cumbia orchestras of the 1950s.

Years passed, and by pure coincidence they reunited in Baja—now bringing their sound to life once again in a warm, small-format set. Their music reflects the spirit of cumbia itself: a rhythm that ties the continent together and evolves like a common language spoken across Latin America.

Come enjoy an evening of music, dance, and community while supporting Fundación Azul Cerralvo
