The Baja Desert is one of the most beautiful and desolate places on earth. There is an abundance of plant and animal found no where else on the planet.
Baja is the home to over 100 species of cacti. 
The Cardon Cactus is the largest cactus on the planet! (Most people think of the Saguaro which is the tallest) Along side you will find forests of chollas, ocotillo, prickly pear, barrel cactus, century plants, and elephant trees.
Although the desert is harsh and the plant life has adapted with tough skins and piercing needles, the Spring bursts forth with exquisite blossoms of magenta and yellow.
